Infinity symbol (∞): copy and paste

Infinity symbol · Unicode U+221E · HTML ∞

The infinity symbol (∞), also called the lemniscate, represents an unbounded quantity in mathematics and “forever” in everyday use, from tattoos to Instagram captions.

In math it appears in limits (x → ∞) and intervals ([0, ∞)). The emoji version ♾️ renders in color on phones; the plain ∞ matches the surrounding text and is the better choice in documents.
